Major7 chords are rarely used in folk music, but appear often in jazz, classical and other genre. #5 is perhaps the most difficult for many players, requiring a barre across all four strings. Those with very small fingers may use two fingers to achieve the same result. #4 is perhaps the easiest fingering for a C6, if the player is able to barre two strings at the 5 th fret with a single fingertip.
